What would you rather be called and why ?
I'd like to be called FAT! :) Well that is what I am and many people shy away from the word thinking it's "bad". I think by using it, I take back those negative notions and show that FAT can be a good thing!

Favorite BBW club/Dance Party:
I am kind of biased on this because I own and operate my own BBW Party. So my answer is.... Heavenly Bodies in Massachusetts - www.superbbw.com - Great parties! Woo!

Favorite restaurant :
Damn, I have to pick one? I'd have to say The Capital Grille. They have the best lobster crab cakes in the world in addition to wonderful steaks.

Favorite Clothing store:
Well I have favorite styles in stores, but most don't fit me. So I generally shop online at Zaftique which goes up to 6x and also BigGirlGear.Com which has cute flirty dresses.

Favorite musical artist:
I am a big singer/songwriter fan - from old favorites like James Taylor to Billy Joel and more currently James Blunt. I also dig 70s music and 80s hair metal :P

Favorite Movies:
Silence Of The Lambs, Memento, Pretty Woman, 16 Candles

What do you think is the most important thing for people to know about you?
I think it's important to know that even though I have modeled for many years, that I am just a normal girl. Nothing too different about me then the average girl next door, except that you see my face and assets on the web :)

What impact do you think you have on the bbw scene?
Ahh, well I've been around a long time and I think that I've touched a few people in my time as all web models and size acceptance advocates do. By showing myself as a free to be me girl that feels sexy about herself sometimes helps other women learn to love their bodies and FAs to accept their preferences. We all have a small part in the community, sometimes we don't even realize this.

How has the Fat Acceptance scene evolved with the years?
It's come a long way. When I was younger and in school, boys who liked fat girls didn't speak out. Now with the internet and myspace and so on, you see young guys and gals accepting their bodies and their preferences. There are now clothes and sexy things for big gals that they didn't have when I was younger either, we are definitely moving forward.

What would you like to see in the forefront of the FA scene?
I'd like to see fat jokes not be commonplace and acceptable. It's the last prejudice out there that is acceptable and it just hits me hard. So next time someone tells a joke be sure to let them know you heard them and don't approve.

Your biggest accomplishement in your bbw modeling career?
Hrm... I guess my own site and building it into bigcuties.com - it was an idea that evolved over time and it's been quite successful and we love our family of big beautiful gals.

Tell us something about you that people would be surprised to hear.
Hrm... I've picked my nose. Yep, I sure have. Gross, huh? Well at least you know when you pick your nose, you'll never come up empty handed :)

How did u get involved in the bbw scene?
I happened upon a message board on Prodigy, in the internet stone ages and met Conrad Blickenstorfer from Dimensions Magazine.. the rest is history!

What would you change in the society to make it better for all the bbws out there?
I'd like to see less magazines and news programs telling us what to look like, what to wear and how to fit in. I'd like people to just be themselves and love themselves no matter their size, shape or looks.

Best thing about the BBW scene:
Big girls in bikinis! I mean who would have ever thought, it's super liberating.

Worst thing about the BBW scene:
Assholes who hide their fat girlfriends and don't admit their preferences and big girls who hate their bodies so much. Not to mention Weight Loss Surgery as a quick fix, this is a very complex medical procedure and isn't a magic pill that can be abused. I've lost a dozen friends to the surgery and I just wish people were more cautious before considering it.

What would be your advice for a girl who wants to start with plus size modeling?
It depends on what type of modeling, if they want to do adult, softcore or fashion modeling. But I'd say put their best foot forward, snap off some good shots of themselves and submit them to the appropriate places they'd like to be seen.

Why HeatherBBW? why not HeatherSSBBW?
Ha, funny you ask that. I have had the email address heatherbbw@aol.com for hrm... about 16 years. At the time I created it I was only just a BBW at a mere 280 lbs, I am getting to almost double that but to change that email after so many years would just be plain stupid, so I keep it :)
